Aluminium with Timber Clad 70mm
The aluminium with timber clad folding sliding door is the best of two worlds. Externally the door provides the modern, stylish strength and durability of an aluminium door with it’s maintenance free finish, whilst internally the timber clad offers the traditional character of natural hardwood. The door is thermally efficient with an energy rating of D.
The thicker-than-standard aluminium walls provide greater strength and high security. The frame is thermally broken to abolish sweating between the timber and the aluminium, to increase the thermally efficiency and to stop the build up of condensation.
The cladding is available in a large variety of timbers, and can easily be changed for another hardwood species at any time. The discreetly locked on timber profiles are easily removable for painting or varnishing. There are no nail holes as Quikloc glazing beads are used, which don’t leave the usual unattractive glazing bead lines.
